I watched TV news and I was really ashamed when I saw that those poor people were struggling to get some food (a plate of "kasha")... It seams to me that this "holiday" is going to be a really sad one

There was a gathering to honor the veterans near the Motherland Statue. Veterans made a que to get the meal which reperesented military cuisine but young people made a crowd and almost sqeezed them I am not sure if you understood me but you are lucky not watching TV

Omg, that's just so sad I wonder why those young people don't want to go to the army to experience the military cuisine and a lot more

You know, long time ago when we lived with my grandparents my grandfather and I were watching TV, it was around Victory Day. And a TV reporter was walking around in the streets and asking people about the Victory Day. And a young guy, he was around 20, said that it would have been a lot better if we had just surrendered to the fascists My grandfather was crying! This young boy who has not seen anything in this life is so stupid that he thinks that fascists is Germany, and if we had given up back then we would be living like they live in Germany now. Idiot! And I felt so bad for my grandparents....

Diamanta, you're happy, I can not unlearn a bad habit not to watch TV.

That is so true!!! Besides my husband is fond of watching those programms about criminals and car accidents( And he always askes me to watch that horror too!!! What for???

While I have not lived with the guy I'm not watching TV, too. But now he looks and I do too. ((

oooooooh, I don't get that either. My husband sometimes watches that too. Not so much about the criminals, but car accidents - yeeeees... I don't like that kind of stuff, just don't want to bring all that crap into my life.

because they are complete idiots, what more can we say? Germans themselves were thankful to everyone in the world for defeating the fascists.

I am happy, we are not in a bedroom computer and TV. If we go to sleep, then go to sleep.

At least you were able to watch those things till the end. My husband often starts to watch some movie and in the middle of action he says that it is time to sleep I tried to make the sound lower but he says it is just like if I would put our TV between us
